Review of Star Trek: First Contact (1996) by Anthony J — 05 Mar 2013

I thought this was a strong Star Trek film. Jean-Luc Picard was a real man of action in this one, which was a little unusual for the character, but I think really showcases how personal his feud with the Borg is.

I thought tying time travel into the story with the Borg was an interesting premise for the film. I also really enjoyed Data's role in the film and how he is similar to the Borg in that he is an artificial lifeform, but how he is so different as well.

I really enjoyed how that all played out.
