Review of Star Trek (2009) by Petes — 13 May 2009
There was no grace or glamor to this film whatsoever. It sped from scene to scene with very little clarity. The jokes seemed forced and slapstick. The plot was vague. The cinematics were anything but. The soundtrack was nothing more than the same 3 notes being played over and over again.
All in all, it was a poor Star Trek. I am stunned that the critics bought in so completely into the hype.
