Review of Star Trek (2009) by Sean L — 06 Jan 2018
While guilty of rushing through a lot of characters' origin stories to get the the whole gang together, this is still a fun, action-packed film that sets the stage for any adventure going forward. It also takes the time to establish that this is a parallel dimension/alternate timeline, so that what Trek fans grew up with in the 'Prime timeline' isn't being erased.
