Review of Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures (2001) by David K — 05 Feb 2009
A decent by-the-numbers documentary, well worth a watch. It uses a copious amount of clips from each of his films, illustrating what we all already know. The films speak for themselves. You do learn many things about the man himself from this film, but it's largely anecdotal from friends and admirers, and it's a shame there wasn't ever enough footage of the man himself.
