Review of Standard Operating Procedure (2013) by Miles S — 12 May 2008
A beautifully shot film about an extremely disturbing problem. It really delves deep into the psychology of a scandal. How some were drawn in by commanding officers and then damned for their actions just because they were caught on camera.
But it also portrays the importance of the camera eye to record and expose this damnable behavior. My only criticism is of some overly dramatic imagery that can often take away from the sensitivity of the storytelling.
