Fascinating and shocking documentary following the events at abu ghraib prison in iraq which led to the arrest of several American soldiers following the release of photographs detailing the torture and humiliation of inmates.
this film takes account of many of those jailed for these attrocities and explains how they were used as pawns to cover up a much larger scandal from higher levels within the US military and govenment.
while this doesn't excuse the actions of these officers it does show that the level at which the people at the top of the food chain will go to secure information from suspects who in most cases are just innocent civilians caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
it is movies such as this that sometimes make me question who are the good guys and who are the bad guys in this 'war'.
