Review of Standard Operating Procedure (2008) by Jason J — 27 Jul 2008
Is there a better documentary maker than Errol Morris? A deeply chilling documentary about the abuses at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. As with most Morris films, it's a mix of talking heads and extremely cinematic reconstructions.
Deeply depressing, and more truth that Western civilisation is well and truly f**ked, but compelling nonetheless.
