Review of Standard Operating Procedure (2008) by Nick D — 11 Aug 2008
For the most part, lets the interview footage tell its own, awful story. But Danny Elfman's tension-building score made one think it was leading to another place, and that place was ultimately just snatches at the clue-is-in-the-title point, and one awkwardly sitting interview snippet about the wider failure of the war.
Also, I still feel grubby watching those photos. I suppose I should find out what the men concerned, or their families, feel about their usage.
