Review of Stand Up Guys (2012) by Peter C — 01 Jul 2013

Interesting, if unoriginal, premise: old cons reunite for one last revenge hit and in doing so tick off their bucket list wishes (sex, drugs and rock and roll).

Excellent cast giving their usual, highly enjoyable, idiosyncratic performances: Walken (dead pan), Pacino (edgy), Arkin (ascerbic).

Let down by a flat, uninteresting script. No edge, few laughs.
