Review of Stand Up Guys (2012) by Aaron M — 01 May 2014

Stand Up Guys has an air of awkwardness about it and boasts and brilliant cast who work superbly together. There is some brilliant character work here, they become really interesting and even the potentially worst scenes endure a sense of comfort.

Watching these difficult and complicated people relate and reminisce became really funny and enjoyable. There is a dark and subtle essence of humour which surrounds the movie which won't be to everyones taste however it has many savouring moments.
