Review of Stand Up Guys (2012) by Whick-Kiwi P — 22 May 2013

I really wanted to like this movie a lot! It needed more back story. Right away we're just thrown into a group of old men that we don't really care about or really know too much about. The only thing it has going for it is its' actors, that we've come to love over the years upon years of their storied careers.

I wish it was funnier, wittier, more emotion. You can't always get what you want. Not every dark comedy, crime, drama movie is written by Martin McDonagh. It just comes up short but the potential is there.
