Review of Stand by Me (1986) by Keith C — 15 Aug 2011
Every teenage boy should be required by law to watch this film because it is the best story about kids and the best coming-of-age story ever put onto film. The four male characters are funny and also have a great deal of depth to them as they develop and struggle alongside each other.
This film can also be very emotionally-gripping as the story unfolds and becomes much more than it seems to be at first. It's a truly superb film that can only be hated by total morons (Seriously, you have to be a complete moron to hate this film).
See it now, if you have not.
