Review of Stand by Me (1986) by Eytan D — 31 Mar 2013
One of my favorite movies. Period. "Stand by Me" is a superior coming-of-age tale. It's dark, sad, funny, exciting, and flawlessly acted by all involved, especially the four youths (River Phoenix's "milk money" monologue will bring on some serious tears, and Corey Feldman and Jerry O'Connell are hilarious).
