Review of Stand by Me (1986) by Nick R — 31 Aug 2013
I hate writing long reviews, so this will be quick.
This film was exceptional. There wasn't anything on tv but this so I thought what the hell.
All 4 of the young actors had really solid performances. I found it a bit weird that Chris, who is supposedly a young dumb villain, is so incredibly wise, but I rolled with it. Corey Feldmen especially caught my eye. What a psycho, eh.
This film really got to me. "I never had friends like I had when I was 12". Too right.
Anyway, not sure what to add. It's a well shot film with funny moments and some nice surprises. Definitely worth your time to watch it. Immediately into one of my favourites.
