Review of Stand by Me (1986) by Liam M — 09 Feb 2015
Rob Reiner was able to capture what it was like being a kid and hanging out with the friends at the time in everyone's life. His collaboration with the four actors is superb. These kids were great and believable, since they were playing themselves.
Authentic performances, honesty & loyalty, and the tension that builds up is enough to recommend. It's a classic!
