Review of Stand by Me (1986) by Marc F — 01 Jul 2015
This is one of the films that made Rob Reiner's pre-1996 directorial career so special. Four roughhousing preteen boys making it through the forest was impressive. In my timespace, I and presumably a lot of other young men would need a team of 40 or 50 to make it through that kind of wilderness, especially in the heat of summer.
