Review of Stand by Me (1986) by Nathan L — 22 Aug 2012
Stand by me is one of the most touching coming of age stories I've ever watched on screen. The screenplay is amazing and manages to reach into the emotions of all the characters. The acting is sensational for such a young cast, and the narration by Richard Dreyfuss makes for an iconic voiceover to remember.
An instant classic and a must see.
