Stand by Me is an 80's drama coming-of-age film taking place in the late 1950's. Its both sad, hearty, and humorous at the same time. Beautifully written! Good old fashioned soundtrack. The young actors do a brilliant job (especially River Phoenix and Corey Feldman)!
