Stand by me is yet anohter Stephen King book adapted into a movie. It's a very powerful movie that can be very emotional and may even make you cry. it also tends to be funny at times, such as the story involving the pie.
Some may also consider it to be "coming of age" because of it's theme and morales. Simplsy put it;s a well done film. I however find it slightly overrated and maybe not very exciting at times.
Stand by me is, nevertheless, a good, entertainig film about the challenges throughout childhood.
