Review of Stand by Me (1986) by Clarisse%20 G — 26 Nov 2017
The film is about four boys who go on an amazing journey. They try to discover a boy's dead body to become famous. But they meat some problems along the way like being chased by a train or being covered with leeches all over their body. Step by step the boy's friendship grows and they become more confident in one another. Sometimes they feel very sad but it doesn't stop them from going further. They rely on one another and help each other to survive. They learn many things they didn't understand before.
I recommend this film to teenagers and maybe adults who love adventure and suspense as they will comprehend better than children and sometimes there are violent scenes.
This film talks about growing up and discovering places the main characters have never been before as they have never left their small village.
Gordie(the main character) has a wonderful personality, he loves writing stories although his father thinks it's a waste of time. His brother died in a car accident and since then his life changed. This journey helped him forget all the troubles that were beginning to destroy his mind.
