Based on a true story of a teacher in L.A. that cares more than most and manages to make a difference in his students' lives. If you enjoyed this film, you'd probably also like similar movies (most of which are also based on true stories) such as: "To Sir, With Love" (great performance by Sidney Poitier), "Dangerous Minds" or "Lean On Me".
