Review of Stand and Deliver (1928) by Rob H — 19 Feb 2011
Stand and deliver is a wonderful feel-good story about an inner-city la teacher who spurs his students, who initially struggled with fractions, to pass the ap calculus exam. It's true, and it's fun, watching Mr.
Escalante make the class fun for his students. This story undoubtedly inspired many others to ditch the fast-track for teaching as a public service.
