Review of Stalag 17 (1953) by Richard B — 25 Apr 2009
Easily one of the best war films of all time - certainly set among POW camps. The comedy factor is a huge part as to why the film stands the test of time, as it doesnt set out to be too worthy. What you do end up with is a simple story directed by a master auteur and played out by a great cast of character actors.
One I can watch again and again!
