Review of Stake Land (2010) by Martin O — 23 Jun 2011
This is a brutal, horrific and almost unendingly bleak movie with really gory moments and the most disgusting creatures I've probably ever seen in a film. The acting is great though and although the 'vamps' are more like half vampire, half zombie, this probably helps to make them even more terrifying.
Nicely shot and although the soundtrack is a bit predictable, it's worth a watch all the same.
