Post apocalyptic vampire movie. When desolate America is being attacked by vampires and a young mans family gets slaughtered he's rescued by a wayward vampire hunter who takes him under his wing. They inevitably pick up a few people along the way as they head North where its supposed to be safe.
Featuring a largely unknown cast, Stake Land has an element of dark and scary realism along with the jumps and gore that horror fans expect. Well worth a look and a good addition the the vampire genre.
