Review of Stake Land (2010) by Zach W — 02 Aug 2011
A different vampire movie than we are used to seeing. A post-apocalyptic coming-of-age vampire western, if you will. I like that they took the slow, ponderous, sometimes even poetic approach. Be warned: this is NOT an action or even straight horror movie, though there is action and horror in it.
