Review of Stagecoach (1939) by Ryan S — 14 Jun 2007
It's not just a great western, it's a great character-driven movie. The plot is little more than an excuse to put several great character actors together. This movie would prove to be quite influential.
Not only did it inspire Orson Welles during the production of Citizen Kane, but it's the movie that made John Wayne a star.
