Review of Stagecoach (1939) by Michael L — 11 Sep 2007
One of the very early Westerns, brought about by the legendary filmmaker John Ford, this film introduced the world to a young John Wayne, and set a lot of the conventions that would remain with the genre until Sergio Leone rewrote the Western rulebook.
An excellent film, and Thomas Mitchell as the alcoholic Doc is excellent in the movie.
