Review of Stagecoach (1939) by Nate E — 12 Sep 2008
I didn't expect to like this movie as much as I did. The ensemble cast is great and the climactic attack by the Apaches is an amazing work of stuntwork. Also, John Wayne has one of the best character introductions in film history here.
The downsides? They typical misogyny and racism that's standard in films of this era and the western in particular.
