This is a classic movie - sought it out on Youtube after first seeing it many years ago. John Wayne and Claire Trevor are at their finest, with strong support from Thomas Mitchell, Donald Meek and John Carradine.
Director John Ford oversees a simple but riveting tale with plenty of action, emotion and humour.
