Review of Stage Fright (1950) by Reginald R — 27 Sep 2007
Pretty good and solid Hitchcock films.
Stage Fright has a tiny problem because one important but badly made flashback part backfires a little. An interesting peculiarity that just adds to the charm of a film that seems to often go slightly underrated. Surely even the taxi scene alone, not to mention all the other goodies, is enough to make up for it.
Rich and Strange definitely seems at least as old as it is, which makes it harder for me to rate. Still interesting enough.
Likable stuff all of them.
