Review of Stage Fright (1950) by Tom C — 30 Oct 2007
As usual, Hitch was ahead of his time with this one. Employing a "false" flashback that audiences of the time could not accept, Hitchcock proved once again that he was always looking for new, surprising ways to tell a story.
Still, this movie feels the least like a Hitchcok film than any other I think.
