Review of Stage Fright (1950) by Bob V — 08 May 2011
One of Hitchcock's lesser valued films, it caused uproar upon release because of the opening flash-back, and it never really recovered from the bad taste it left in cinema-goers' mouths. Nonetheless, it deserves more credit than it's box office suggests.
Marlene Dietrich is the true star of the film, despite being billed second place to a rather uninteresting Jane Wyman.
