While I originally sought out this movie because Lucille Ball was in it, "Stage Door" was actually what brought one of my other femaile idols, the fabulous Katharine Hepburn, to my attention.
The ensemble on the whole was phenomenal, though, and the writers did an excellent job of fusing both comedic and dramatic elements into the script.
