Review of Stage Door (1937) by Emily K — 03 Dec 2007
Katharine Hepburn, though top billed, plays more a supporting role in this film. Be that as it may, it's a good one.
Her character is hilarious, and the film is an intriguing look into a group of young aspiring actresses boarding together, all desperate to make it big.
Gregory La Cava is a first rate director, and this film, though not a big classic, is still a great piece of work.
