Review of Stage Door (1937) by Amanda E — 03 Mar 2008
It's okay. Mostly notable for the number of legendary women sharing the screen--Kate Hepburn, Ginger Rogers, Lucille Ball and Ann Miller all turn out fabulous performances. The script is just okay--most of the plot feels pretty contrived, but the scenes with all the girls interacting are great.
Fluffy fun for a rainy afternoon.
