Review of Stage Beauty (2004) by Crispyfur C — 03 Jun 2007

Billy Crudup is a fantastic actor. You would have to be if you were a straight man who plays a bisexual man who plays a woman onstage. Claire Danes is good of course but kudos to Billy for choosing such a complicated part and acting it out perfectly.

I appreciated the fact that this was somewhat based off of true events and people with a bit of a spin. The plot was a bit weak but the acting more than makes up for it.
