"but he never taught you to love like a woman, to suffer like a woman." (paraphrased) I found that scene on youtube and fell in love with the movie before I ever saw it. two of the best actors ever, and I was not let down.
wonderfully symbolizes male insecurities at one of the most dramatic advances of female power in history. and I may less cynically say... goes to show we may just need each other after all. (that's masculinity and femininity however they may be portrayed.
).
