Review of St Trinian's (2007) by Torie R — 25 Aug 2011
This has to be my all time favourite film! The actors were superb, never hesitating with their lines, and the small amounts of FX were very realistic. The actors' traits were incredible, also, like Rupert Everett's two roles, Talulah Riley's facial expressions and the way Russell Brand's character (Flash Harry) hesitated and stammered every time Gemma Arterton's character (Kelly Jones) came on screen.
The jokes were actually funny, with few to no cliches. I also quite liked the subtle flirting between Flash Harry (Russel Brand) and Kelly (Gemma.) and the different cliques at the school. Many dislike this film, but I very much enjoy the suspense and laughter it causes.
For something funded by the national lottery, this film was very well-made!
