Review of St. Elmo's Fire (1985) by Hannah L — 15 Dec 2007
Although it takes itself a bit too seriously, and often feels VERY disjointed, the movie is quite good. All involved bring their A-games (with gold stars going to Lowe and Estevez). The soundtrack is nice too.
Again, its a little bit self-righteous, but this can be forgiven as that's sort of Schumacher's thing sometimes. It WAS, however, refreshing to see an "angst" tale that takes place OUTSIDE of high school.
