Review of St. Elmo's Fire (1985) by Janna L — 22 Sep 2010
An escaped mental patient (Emilio Estevez) attempts to stalk and kill a young female doctor (Andie McDowell).
His friends try to hide this by staging a terrible melodrama to distract the general public from mental patients actions. It's interesting to note they do this by acting like massive dickheads.
In one of the films most chilling series of events the mental patient stalks the doctor in the rain, takes control of a rich Korean's house and poses as a rich man to lure her into a trap. When this fails he goes round to her house and verbally threatens female room mate.
Some people have sex on top of a coffin.
2/5.
