Gave this a re-watch on Blu-ray and would say that it holds up pretty well, though I would understand if this is based almost purely on nostalgia on my part, as I have fond memories of catching this back in my adolescence and feeling like I was getting a view of what adult life was like for the first time.
I still dig the movie, but it definitely has some clunky moments here and there.
Worth a rental.
