Review of Squirm (1976) by Chadly Y — 24 Oct 2007
A truly suspenseful skin-crawler that's one of the best nature-strikes-back movies in the B horror genre. It actually manages to find the perfect balance between camp and serious horror. Great makeup work from Rick Baker, a good no-star cast, and tight direction from Jeff Lieberman help to make this one of the best B horror films of the 70's.
If you saw it on MST3K, you really didn't see it thanks to nearly half an hour of editing. A clever gem, that's sadly underrated.
