Review of Spy Game (2001) by Gwenllian L — 13 May 2008
Quite possibly Tony Scott's best movie, Redford trains Pitt to be a good spy and to follow all the rules to live a good life and never get attached to anything, and then proceeds to break them all when Pitt gets captured and disavowed.
Another teacher-student movie, the best part is the evolution of Redford and Pitt's relationship. A very good flick from Scott, who manages to restrain much of his typically explosive and flamboyant style.
