Review of Spy (2015) by Brian S — 27 Jun 2016
Since her breakout role in Bridesmaids, Melissa McCarthy has become a force in the comedy genre, turning into a full-fledged star. Her collaboration with director Paul Feig cannot be underestimated as the duo have worked together on the above 2011 hit, 2013s The Heat as well as this, 2015s Spy (and the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot).
Combining the fish out of water humor of McCarthy and the ever-growing ability of Feig, the duo team up again for an espionage movie spoof that has plenty of humor, fun action and a satisfying conclusion.
