I like all three of these actresses, and therefore am disappointed in the results. The plot was a bit disjointed, and the humor often fell short. There were moments when this movie sang (such as Parker Posey drenched in salsa), but normally the movie plodded along from one almost-joke to the next.
If the actresses had not been as charismatic and engaging as they were, I doubt I would have finished the movie.
