Review of Spring (2014) by Ildefonso M — 16 Jun 2015
Beautiful cinematography, great acting and great writing. For something in this genre, the characters felt very real. Such a unique horror film; really much more of a romance. No idea what the budget was, but it had some great practical effects and CGI.
The relationship could have delved a little deeper, the conversations were a little repetitive and the explanations were a little convenient, but it's hard not to enjoy such an interesting take on these two genres, especially since the movie is so pretty to look at.
The Italian settings definitely helped. Not many films like this out there that I've seen.
