Review of Spread (2009) by Sam P — 07 Apr 2010

Although I did not much care for the way it ended, I thought Spread was a fairly good movie. The plot and story line is not that original: a serial womanizer meets his equal and falls in love. We've seen that kind of movie before in movies like "Whipped" with Amanda Pete but it was a unique change of pace to see Ashton Kutcher in something other than slap stick comedy.

I would have liked more of his inner dialogue throughout the movie and probably needed a little more character development especially between Kutcher and his friend played by Sebastian Stan.

By the way, when did Anne Heche get so hot and naked? I really liked her role in the movie as the cougar he mooches off of (even he she wasn't naked throughout the movie.).

Definitely rentable.
