Review of Spotlight (2015) by Aman A — 07 Mar 2016
The best aspect of this movie despite some outstanding acting, is the pace. It starts slow and picks up a beautifully edited increasing pace that keeps the viewers engaged. I loved the slight humour in an otherwise serious drama.
The filming is simple and honest. It connected me to movie and made me feel for the characters. Everyone was relatable. No over-the-top or 'fictionized' aspects in anyone. In fact, it almost felt like a documentary. A movie for the ages, do not miss this one.
