Review of Spotlight (2015) by Dorian G — 13 Mar 2016
Finally got around to this a few months late... Played more like a TV movie of the week. Some good performances and an emotionally difficult story, but the pacing and payoff could've been strong. A Few Good Men, for example, pulled off the build and reveal a lot stronger.
Regardless, it's heavy stuff and I'm glad for the exposure of this tragedy to reach a global audience through this film.
